Who We Are

A vibrant community of retirees making a difference in Surigao del Norte.

Surigao del Norte Retirees Association, Inc. (SUNRAI) traces its beginnings to the 1960s, conceived and organized by the late Surigao City Mayor Ramon Kaimo together with other prominent government employees and retirees.

Accredited with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Surigao City pursuant to the Local Government Code and DILG Memorandum Circular 2022-83, the association is an active member of the Alliance of Civil Society Organizations of Surigao City (ACSOS), working alongside local government and partner agencies to promote the health, welfare, and dignity of retirees.

Today, as SUNGNRAI, our membership is composed of retired government and non-government employees from across Surigao del Norte — united by camaraderie, mutual support, and a shared purpose of service to our community.
